- 5 / 5By Alan ToddA friend and I happened to drop in for lunch after a long day on the motorcycles. I decided on the cream of crab soup and a mushroom swiss burger. The soup was awesome! Very thick and creamy with plenty of crab meat. The burger was one of the best I've had anywhere. I don't know how they prepare their burgers, but if I lived anywhere near Tappahannock, Lowery's would be my only burger spot. Even the french fries were done just right. The service was a bit slow, but our waitress was friendly. I would love to go back and try out some their other dishes on the menu.February 10, 2017
